She was born October 5, 1967 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Willam Ford Sr. III of Freeport, IL and Annie M. Ruffin-Haley of Cape Girardeau, MO. Yolanda moved to Freeport along with her family at 6 years old from Hayti, MO. She confessed to Christ at an early age. She attended Freeport High School. She enjoyed computers, singing, and sports such as track. She is survived by her three children Delovia (Amanda Morhardt) Ford, Devonte (Mariah Franks) Ford and Tamarah Ruffin all of Freeport Before she got very sick, she spent all of her spare time with her 7 grandchildren Amya, Delovia Jr., Lanaya, Cashmere, Asia, Devonte Jr., and Legand; mother Annie Ruffin-Ford of Cape Girardeau, MO; three brothers Ronald (Amy Lockhart) Ford of Jonesboro, AR, William H. Ford Jr. III of Madison, WI, and Steve (Louis) Mason of Elkhart, IN; Auntie Loretta Covington of Hayti, MO, Cousin Kertrice Wright of Nashville, TN, Great Aunt Marietta of Hayti, MO, Cousin Jessie Walker of Hayti, MO, Cousin R.D Walker Jr of Hayti, MO, Michelle Ruffin of Chicago Heights, IL, Tracey Garland of Las Vegas, NV, Terrel Ruffin Chicago, IL, Auntie Bobbie (Bennie) Conner of Cape Girardeau, MO, Cousin Natasha Pearson of St Charles, MO, Cousin Craig (Latonja) Pearson of Cape Girardeau, MO, Cousin Edjron Pearson of Madison, WI, Cousin Marcus Turks Of Cape Girardeau, MO Cousin Lateay Miles of Hayti, MO, Niece Jasmine Ford of Nashville, TN, Auntie Michelle Ruffin of Chicago, Heights, IL, Cousin Tracey Garland of Las Vegas, NV, and a host of family and friends. Smith, and aunt Deborah Miles Private family graveside services will be held Tuesday October 2, 2021 at Freeport City Cemetery. Covid restrictions and masks mandates will be enforced.
