Willie Ann Phillips

Willie Ann Phillips, 66, of Freeport, IL passed away Wednesday December 15, 2021 in her home. She was born September 7, 1955 in Chicago, IL to James Boyd and Lorither Pittman. Willie enjoyed singing, dancing, joking around, and all types of games, especially card games. Most of all Willie enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her three daughters Latashae Mitchell, Latoni Mitchell, Teresa Mitchell, Inyanga; siblings Albert Sledge, Algina Sledge-Pruitt, Laveta Mitchell, and Joann Mitchell; 21 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two daughters "Bessy" and "Flossy". Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday December 23, 2021 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, IL. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday December 22, 2021 also at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, IL. A memorial has been established in her memory.
