William L. Hines, 22 of Freeport, IL departed his early life on Thursday July 30, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rockford, IL on July 17, 1993 to Willie Mae Bonner and Kenneth Hines. He was raised by his step-mother Yollanda Hines. Will graduated from Freeport High School in 2012. He loved and cherished basketball, football, and track during his high school years. He enjoyed being with his six month old son, family, and friends. Will was loved by many, and he will be truly missed. Will is survived by his two sons: William Jayce Hines of Freeport, IL and Kayden Lee Hines of Dixon, IL; his father Kenneth (Yollanda) Hines of Freeport, IL; mother Willie Mae Bonner of Rockford, IL; siblings Latequa, Kendra, and Carolyn all of Rockford, Shanea of Tennessee, Dotlene (Lamont) of Kentucky, Kis'hana and Kenyondra all of Freeport, Anthony, Dawan, Kenneth, Brandon, Christopher all of Freeport, and Lasedrick of Danville; God parents Dennis and Lula Bruce of Freeport; and six close friends who were like brothers Quavion Scott, Kyrell Bruce, Brandon Brewer, Shadeed Monroe, Raekwon Cooley, and Percy Fleming. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy and Charles Hines, Lena Bonner, and Tim Clark II; two uncles Ricky Hines and Tim Clark III; and his aunt Sandra K. Allen Parham. Funeral services will be Saturday 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
