William "Bill" Palmer

William "Bill" Palmer, 69, of Freeport, died Sunday May 12, 2019 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Bill was born March 20, 1950 in Freeport. Bill was well known for his outstanding Carpentry skills and willingness to help others. He loved his animals, golfing, and his 1940 Chevy. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Smith and step-father, Emmitt Smith both of Pearl City. Bill is survived by his brothers, Michael (Linda) Palmer of Pearl City, Larry Palmer of Georgia; daughter, Lisa (Bobby) Williams of Sanford, North Carolina and Jenna (Josh) Alderks of Freeport; grandchildren, Marcus Palmer, Allesia Palmer and Alexa Shipp all of Raleigh, North Carolina, Ethan and Sawyer Alderks of Freeport. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There are no funeral services or Celebration of Life planned at this time. A memorial has been established in Bill's memory.
