Wilda Fern Reuber

Wilda Fern Reuber, 98, of Freeport died Friday at Lena Living Center, Lena. She was born December 30, 1914 in Shawville, Pa., the daughter of William F. and Minnie (Kyler) Kyler. She married Willie A Reuber on July 6, 1935 in Galena, Illinois. He died January 1, 1986. Mrs. Reuber was the bookkeeper for her husband'™s business, Willie A. Reuber Cement Company. She enjoyed woodworking, crafts and gardening. She attended First United Methodist Church of Freeport. Mrs. Reuber is survived by her son, Tim (Suzie) Reuber of Shullsberg, Wisconsin. Also her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Tina Meyers and her sisters. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport Rev. Julie Bunt will officiate.. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs.
