Wayne Lewis Moring

Wayne Lewis Moring, 91, of Baileyville, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 in his home. Wayne was born on February 7, 1924 in Baileyville, the son of Alvin and Fannie (Temple) Moring. Wayne married June Krusey on June 9, 1945 in Freeport. Wayne farmed for 45 years near Baileyville and also drove for Moring Inc. He was a 1942 graduate of Forreston High School. Wayne was a member of Prairie Dell Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending his winters in Naples, Florida with his wife, June. Surviving are his wife, June Moring of Baileyville; sister, Marian Greenfield of Freeport, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, two nephews, and two great-nephews. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday April 20, 2015 at Prairie Dell Presbyterian Church. Rev. Donna L. Gericke will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Forreston. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
