Wanda Twila Farringer

Wanda Twila Farringer, 77, of Freeport, passed away, Sunday November 27, 2022, at Heritage Woods, Freeport. Wanda was born March 3, 1945 in Wolford, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Rhoda (Hochstetler) Bacher. Wanda married Edward Farringer July 20, 1990, in Rockton. Mr. Farringer passed away August 4, 2006. She worked as a nurse at Freeport Memorial Hospital for many years. Wanda, then traveled around and did merchandising setups with her husband, Ed. Surviving are daughters, Tonya (Todd) Lower of Pearl City and Rhonda (Mike) Wheeler of Swan Quarter, NC.; three stepsons, Joe Farringer, Ben Farringer, and Nate Farringer; three sisters, Marjo (Ernie) Slabaugh of Sarasota, FL., Vesta (Loren) Shoemaker of Goshen, IN., and Paulette Carstens also of Goshen, IN.; also surviving are five grandchildren, Sydni Lower, Dylan Lower, Hannah Wheeler, Zac Wheeler, and Andrew Wheeler. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Ed Farringer. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 3, 2022 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Visitation 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial has been established in Wanda's memory.
