Vivian Louise Coffey, 56, of Stockton, IL, died Monday September 13, 2022, at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. She was born March 14, 1966, in cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of Richard and M. Jean (Mackey) Coffey. Vivian worked as a nurse at Freeport Memorial Hospital and St. Francis School. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs and cats, and conversating with her friends over Facebook. Vivian is survived by her brother, Laurence Coffey of Monroe, WI; two sisters, Marcia Coffey of Bethel, AK and Joyce Hartwig of Monroe, WI; five nieces, Susan (Matt) Hughes, Julie (Shom Das) Hartwig, Krissy (Charles) Gramu, Cassie (Peter Cahill) Coffey, and Shelby (Bill Hurlburt) Coffey. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Vicki Coffey, and brother-in-law, James Hartwig. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial has been established in Vivian's memory. Vivian's family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to Allure of Stockton, where Vivian was a resident, Dr. Beth Kalnins, all the nurses, nurses aides, and entire staff at FHN for the wonderful compassionate care they showed both Vivian and her family.
