Vissie L. Chest, 70, of Freeport, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 21, 2012, in the present of her family. A worrier was born May 13, 1942 in Tippo Mississippi to the parents Mr. Johnnie L. Adams and Ms. Luella Lawerence. Vissie was a hard working woman all of her life. Not only did she work in the church, she took her family to church with her and made them work as hard. She later moved her membership to Calvary Tabernacle (Pastor Albert (Faye) Surez), but God had greater plans for Vissie. Because of Vissie Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding, she started a church out of her home / founder of Inspired Church (Bishop Nathan William) as she lead people to Christ. At all three churches; Vissie gave her finance (tithes) as well as spiritual support. Vissie were loved by many people for her generosity, kindness, and hospitality as she cooked for her family and friends. She also loved all mankind, unselfishly, very-very-very, much! with all of her heart. Vissie loved to smile and her legacy will be carried on through a smile that money could not buy. She leaves to cherish her smile, her husband, Eddie Chest, her children, Bobby Adams of CA., Billy Adams, Betty (Edmond) Ellis, Joe Adams, Diane Adams, Eddie Adams, David Adams, Terry Adams, Jerry Adams, Mary Adams, and Shirley Adams all of Freeport, IL.
