Virginia M. Roenneburg

Virginia M. Roenneburg, 85, of Freeport, died Wednesday at Stephenson Nursing Center in Freeport. Virginia was born May 9, 1925 in Stephenson County, the daughter of Calvin and Marie (Salzman) Miley. On July 12, 1952 Virginia married Jesse Roenneburg in Belvidere, Illinois, he died January 16, 1986. She was employed by Burgess Battery. Survivors include; one brother, Marion 'Myron' (Florice) Miley of Ridott, one half-brother, Jim Miley of Wisconsin, two half sisters; Carole (Albert) Dorsett of Iowa and Judy Montez of California, also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her; parents, one daughter, Janet Whitmer, Five brothers, two sisters and one half-brother. Funeral Services will be Saturday 10:30 A.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Ross Miley officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service in Burke Tubbs.
