Virginia C. Yocherer

Virginia C. Yocherer, 91, of Freeport died February 28, at Manor Court of Freeport. She was born November 6, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Henry J. and Myrtle (Harbaugh) Wirth. She married Eugene D. Yocherer in Chicago, Illinois. He died December 26, 1968. Mrs. Yocherer is survived by her son, Gary Yocherer of Freeport. Two daughters, Renee (Stanley) Metcalf of Granbury, Texas and Jan (Randy) Harp of Waterloo, Iowa. She is also survived by her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, her daughter in law, Pat and her daughter, Margaret. Memorial services will be Saturday, 10:30 A.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Deacon Richard Dinneen will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs. A memorial has been established in her name.
