Victoria M. Perkins

Victoria M. Perkins, 66, of Freeport, IL passed away Friday September 9, 2022 in her home. She was born November 15, 1955 in Freeport, IL to Norman and Rosemary (Mazziotti) Bergren. On February 19, 1983 she married Pete Perkins at the Church by the Side of the Road in Rockton, IL. Victoria was a medical coder at FHN. She enjoyed gardening and following Chicago sports, especially the Cubs and Blackhawks. Victoria was devoted to caring for her brother Mark and took great pride in her relationship with Mark. She is survived by her husband Pete of Freeport; son Joey (Lauren) Perkins of Waukashau, WI; three brothers Mark Bergen of Freeport, Doug (Laurel) Bergen of Mount Carrol, IL and Frank (Joann) Bergen of Loudon, TN; step-brother Roger Manus; and two grandchildren Hayes and Eden Perkins. Preceding Victoria in death are her parents and step-brother Al Manus. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday September 17, 2022 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. A memorial has been established in Victoria's memory.
