Vicki S. Smith

Vicki S. Smith, 57, of Freeport died January 6, at University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin. She was born December 14, 1961 in Carbondale, Illinois the daughter of Audrey C. Smith. Vicki had a passion for Needle Pointing and her stuffed animals, especially her teddy bears. She was also an avid collector of decorative ornaments. Before becoming ill, she loved going to church. Vickie is survived by her brothers; Bobby Smith of Carbondale and Ronald M. (Kelly) Smith of Freeport; two sisters; Dorothy (Burdette) Douglas-Penn of Overland Park, Kansas and Jacqueline (Maurice) Hamilton-Miller of Chicago, Illinois; her special Aunt and Uncle, Robert Lee of Pulaski, Illinois and Wilma La Flora of Chicago. Also surviving is a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 1:00 P.M. at the Bridge Church, Freeport. Rev. Fred Woodruff will officiate.
