Vicki L. Anderson

Vicki L. Anderson, 66, of Freeport, passed away Friday November 28, 2014 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness. She was born January 27, 1948 in Monroe, WI, the daughter of John and Betty (Kamps) Schulthess. She married Richard Anderson April 3, 1971 in Pearl City, IL. Vicki worked for Micro Switch, Thermos, and Anchor Harvey. She enjoyed Camping, dancing, music, and spending time with her family and friends. Vicki is survived by her husband Richard Anderson of Freeport, Il; two sons Michael (Elizabeth) Anderson of Broadhead, WI and Scott (Kelly) Anderson of Metropolis, IL; her daughter Stephanie (Robert) Robb II of Winslow, IL; two brothers Tim (Vicki) Castle and Jeff (Larae) Castle both of Freeport, IL; her sister Sharon (Tony) Barthel of Freeport, IL; seven grandchildren Tess, Michaelle, Teigan, Morgan, Nathen, Tyler, and Brett; two great-grandchildren Emmie and Chase; and her special companion Chico. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her stepfather Estil Baker. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 3, 2014 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
