Valoris Marie Hagemann

Valoris Marie Hagemann, 97, of Forreston, was called home on Thursday at PineCrest Nursing Center in Mt. Morris. Valoris was born June 24, 1913 in Ogle County Illinois, the daughter of Milton and Anna (Bowerman) Myers. On January 1, 1932 Valoris and Irvin Lee Hagemann were married in Forreston. Valoris and her husband farmed the Leaf River area. She was a member of the Adeline Evangelical Church, Mt. Morris Chapter #485 Women of the Moose, Friendship Circle in Forreston. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, cards and dominoes. Survivors include; one son Kenneth (Mary) Hagemann of Machesney Park, one daughter, Deloris Peterson of Adeline, daughter-in-law Avis Hagemann of Lena, sister-in-law Pearl Myers of Mt. Morris, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, two sons; Donald and Wayne, three brothers, two sisters, one son-in-law Ted Peterson, one grandchild and one great grandchild. Funeral Services will Tuesday December 21, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Adeline Zion Evangelical Church with Rev. Larry Jameson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at church. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in her memory.
