Valeria E. Bollon

Valeria E. Bollon, 98, of Freeport, died Sunday November 11, 2018 at Pearl Pavilion in Freeport. She was born September 28, 1920 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Edwin and Emma (Patch) Hornbogen. She married Albert Bollon August 20, 1940 in Freeport, IL; he died April 25, 1989. Valeria worked for Micro Switch and Burgess Battery. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Valeria is survived by her two sons William "Bill" (Connie) Bollon and Dennis Bollon; two daughters, Janice Bryant and Joann Grenoble both of Freeport, IL; Brother, Clarence (Ester) Hornbogen of Rockford, IL; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Gary; her daughter Linda; and her brother, Charles. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday November 16, 2018 at the Chapel of Peace in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. A memorial has been established in her name.
