Twyla M. Kneller

Twyla M. Kneller, 90, of Freeport, died Tuesday March 11, 2014 at Freeport Rehabilitation Center in Freeport. She was born on May 21, 1923 in Stephenson County, IL, the daughter of E.C. and Lydia (Heise) Stemm. Twyla married Elmer Kneller on April 11, 1954; he died on February 9, 1997. Mrs. Kneller was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed embroidering and gardening. Surviving are her son; Kevin Kneller of Freeport and her sister, Eileen Brubaker of Freeport. Mrs. Kneller is also survived by her sister-in-law Joann Stemm. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday March 17, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Julie Bunt, Pastor, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
