Tommie Lee Burrow

Tommie Lee Burrow affectionately known as "Tom" was born on September 4, 1970 to Willis Burrow Sr. and Mary Ann (Collins) Burrow in Freeport, Illinois Tom entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2018. Tommie Accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport, IL. Tommie received his formal education through Freeport School District 145 and was a 1988 graduate. After graduating he joined the United States Army and served in Desert Storm until 1992. After returning home he began employment at Chrysler in Belvidere, IL. where he currently was employed. Tommie loved the Dallas Cowboys and listening to the Blues, he also enjoyed grilling, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Tommie leaves to cherish his precious memories: His parents, Willis Sr. and Mary Ann; two daughters, Ciara N Burrow of Freeport, IL. and Tomiah L Burrow of Jackson, TN., two brothers, Willis Burrow Jr. and Timothy Burrow both of Freeport, IL., two sisters, Diane Hughes of Freeport, IL. and Denita (Chuck) Robinson of St. Louis, MO., his loving companion of nine years Erica Price of Freeport, IL., two special aunts, Josephine Robinson and Delia Shipp both of Freeport, IL., two grandchildren, Nalan M and Martinez Jr. both of Freeport, IL., five nieces, Christina Burrow, Latrice Cayce, Agnes Kennedy, Prenella Kennedy all of Freeport, IL. and Matice Morris of St. Louis, MO., three nephews; Brandon Burrow of Rockford, IL., Wade Morris of Tampa, FL., and David Flowers of Washington, IA. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tomesha Burrow, his paternal grandparents Albert and Ever Jane Burrow and his Maternal grandparents Henry and Vivian Collins, his special uncles Rev. Tommie Robinson and Robert Luther Burrow. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 11:00 AM Visitation will be 9:00 AM until time of service at Mt. Carmel, Missionary Baptist Church 602 S. Chicago Ave. Freeport, IL
