Todd "Otis" Stein

Todd C. "Otis" Stein, 54, of Rockford, IL, and formerly of Freeport, IL died Sunday October 13, 2019. He was born December 16, 1964 in Freeport, IL, the son of Billy and Bonny (Robbins) Stein. Todd is survived by his daughter, Christie Saxer; sisters, Robin (Mark) Stein-Niedermeier and Carrie Bell; niece, Nicole White; nephews, Dillon Jackson, DeAndrew Kruser, Dereon Bates, and Tristan Bell; and his special friends, The Mary's Place family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alan Stein. Todd's greatest passion in life was his family and friends. If he knew you, he loved you with every ounce of his being. He never met a rule he couldn't break, a boundary he couldn't push, a line he couldn't cross, and a story he couldn't stretch. Those who wish to gather in memory of his life are welcome to raise a glass and celebrate at his home away from home, Mary's Place, 602 N. Madison St. Rockford, IL November 2, 2019 from noon until 5:00 P.M. A special thanks to all the folks at Mary's Place for loving Todd unconditionally.
