Todd M. Brinkmeier

Todd M. Brinkmeier, 54, of Freeport, passed away, Saturday February 5, 2022, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Todd was born August 8, 1967, in Freeport, the son of Robert C. Brinkmeier and Sharon Schulthess. He married Michelle Mashaw February 9, 1996. Todd worked as a machine operator at Sauer-Danfoss for 10 years. Todd's life revolved around his family that meant so much to him. He enjoyed camping, playing video games on his phone, following the Green Bay Packers, and decorating his house for each and every holiday. Surviving is his wife, Michelle Brinkmeier of Freeport; mother, Sharon (Tony) Barthel of Freeport; two sons, Michael (Everlena Crockett) Brinkmeier of Freeport and Joseph Brinkmeier of Freeport; brother, John Brinkmeier of Freeport; three sisters, Heidi (Dan Champion) Barry of Pecatonica, Kelly (Ron) Smith of Freeport and Patty Baker of Freeport. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kiayla and Jasper. Todd was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 10, 2022, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in Todd's memory.
