Todd A. Williams

Todd A. Williams, 58, of Freeport, IL passed away Saturday July 16, 2022 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born May 19, 1964 in Freeport, the son of Jim and Betty (Myers) Williams. Todd was a graduate of Freeport High School and graduated in 1983. Todd Served in the United States Marine Corps as Hygiene Equipment operator from 1985 to 1988. He served with the second Marine Division, at Camp Lejeune, NC, and ended his tour of duty with the 3rd Marine Division in Okinawa, Japan. Todd received an Honorable Discharge for his service to his Country. On December 18, 2020 Todd married Theresa DeBoer in Freeport, IL. Todd was employed at Danfoss Power Solutions. He was a self-employed plumber by trade. Todd enjoyed making people laugh and smile. His hobbies included cooking, grilling, being outdoors and helping others. He enjoyed trying new restaurants and buying the latest DVD that came out on Tuesdays. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his mother and getting together with his family. He is survived by his mother Betty Williams of Freeport; wife Theresa of Freeport; son Ryan (Rachel) Williams of Freeport; two daughters Heather Graff of Freeport and Megan Williams of Freeport; Step children Jeremy Dittmar, Jenny Dittmar, Jonathon Dittmar; brother Andy Williams of Freeport; five grandchildren Brayden Williams, Mason Graff, Olivia Williams, Marco Walker Jr. and Gabriella Schmoll. Preceding Todd in death is his father Jim Williams. Memorial service will be on Saturday July 23rd at 10:30 am at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm. A memorial has been established in his memory.
