Timothy "Saint" St. Andrews

Timothy A. "Saint" St. Andrews, 68, of Freeport, died Thursday November 3, 2016 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born January 12, 1948 in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Leo and Mary (Van Fleet) St. Andrews. Timothy enjoyed his youth on the St. Lawrence River. He moved to Freeport with his family in 1965, where he completed his senior year of high school. Timothy married Mary Marten on April 24, 1971. He was the proud owner of Mort & Saints Bar & Grill and also worked for Northern Illinois Outdoor Advertising. As an athlete growing up in Ogdensburg, NY, led to a life long love of the New York Giants; he was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan where he spent many great times with friends and family at the ballpark. Spending time with his family was most important to him. Timothy is survived by his wife Mary St. Andrews; daughters Kim (Troy) Ramey and Michelle (Ryan) Balsiger; grandchildren Taylor and Lauren Koehn, Tyler Balsiger, and Tori Ramey; brothers James (Cathie) St. Andrews and Tom (Joy) St. Andrews; his sister Patti St. Andrews; sisters and brothers-in-laws Jean (Dick) Ziebol, Cathy Whalen, Mike and Polly Marten, Debbie and Larry Stewart, Ken and Theresa Marten, Mort and Sherrie Marten; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; parent-in-laws Jay and Rose Marten brothers Michael and Peter St. Andrews; son-in-law Derek Koehn; niece Jill Marten; sister-in-laws Mary St. Andrews and Fran Krum; and brother-in-laws Don Krum, Jim Marten, and Dennis Whalen. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday November 7, 2016 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Visitation will be from 1:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday also at Burke-Tubbs.
