Timothy James Vorwald

Timothy James Vorwald, 22, of Freeport, went home to be with his heavenly Father on November 29, 2016. Timmy was born on December 27, 1993 in Freeport, to Lori Vorwald. He graduated eighth grade from Tri-County Christian School and proceeded to graduate from Freeport High School. He attended Park Hills Evangelical Free Church. Timmy loved spending time with his family and friends. He not only got enjoyment from skateboarding and snowboarding, he had the opportunity to make some great friends. Timmy was preceded in death by his great-grandma and grandpa, Margaret and Don Halstead, whom he loved very much. He is survived by his mom, Lori Vorwald of Freeport, his grandma and grandpa, Nancy and Maurice Vorwald, uncle, Scott (Becca) Vorwald of Lena and cousins Tyler, Evan and Channing Vorwald, his girlfriend Jessika Smola, and his great uncle, Clark (Judith) Halstead. Timmy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His smile will live on forever. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Park Hills Church. Visitation will be Monday December 5, 2016 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Timmy's memory.
