Tim "Mac" Mcintyre

Tim "Mac" McIntyre, 59, of Freeport, died Tuesday May 23, 2017, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Tim was born March 25, 1958 in Freeport, the son of Donald E. and Patricia A. (Nesemeier) McIntyre. He married Julie Woods on November 30, 2002. Julie died February 17, 2016. Tim graduated from Aquin High School. He worked at Titan Tire from 1985-2017 as a tire builder. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeport Eagles Club and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed woodworking, boating, gardening, grilling, and fishing with all of his grandkids, nieces, and nephews, and friends. Mac was a fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and the University of Notre Dame. Surviving are his son, Joshua Johnson of Freeport; daughters, Angela (Patrick) LaBudde of Lake Summerset and Melissa (Nathan) Kluck of Freeport; brother, Greg (Tammy) McIntyre of Machesney Park; sister, Teresa Glick of Freeport; mother-in-law, Joan Woods; brother-in-law Earl Woods; sister-in-laws, Mary (Don Merchant) Woods, Kelly Clark, Susan (Russ) Snyder, and Debbie (Dean) Truman six grandchildren, Carter and Caeley Johnson, Howie and Dustin Kluck, Jason LaBudde, and Paige Stichter; nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Ryan Glick and Jenna McIntyre; Mac will miss his two dogs Mandy and Kelly. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother-in-law, Michael Woods. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday June 2, 2017 a St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Timothy Barr will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday June 1, 2017 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at St. Joseph on Friday.
