Thomas Mccartney

Thomas McCartney, 74, of Freeport , passed away, Friday April 12, 2024 at Ascension Living Saint Joseph Village. Thomas was born June 10, 1949 in Belvidere, Illinois, the son of Robert and Dorothy (McKelvey) McCartney. Tom graduate from Belvidere High School in 1965. After graduation he attended Rock Valley and Northen IllinoisUniversity. Tom owned and operated MVP'S in Freeport until his retirement.

Surviving is his brother, Jim (Carla) McCartney of Oshkosk; niece and nephews, Jeff (Diane) of Winthrop harbor, IL., Jamie Peerenboom (Troy) of Oshkosh, WI., Matthew (Jodie) of Oshkosh, WI., and Cathi Lafontaine (Brian) of Menomonie, WI.; also survivng are nine grand nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
