Thomas E. Boddie

Thomas E. Boddie, 54, of Freeport, passed away, Wednesday April 20, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital, in Davenport, Iowa. Thomas was born June 19, 1967, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Jimmy Boddie and Linda (Smith) Boddie. Thomas worked for Berner Foods. Surviving is his mother, Linda Boddie of Freeport; brothers, Tyrone and Kenneth; and sisters, Mary, Gwen, Janet, and Tonja. Mr. Boddie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Boddie; and brother, Jimmy Boddie Jr. Funeral services will be noon Thursday April 28, 2022, at St. James C.M.E. Church. Rev. Dr. T. Marcellus Thomas will officiate. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at St. James. Burial will be in City Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mr. Boddie's memory.
