Theodore Pierce, Jr.

Theodore Pierce, Jr., 97, of Freeport, IL passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Parkview Home in Freeport, IL. He was born April 8, 1925 in Watseka, IL, the son of Theodore and Hazel Ruth (Earl) Pierce. Theodore married Joyce S. Cooper September 6, 1946 at First Presbyterian Church in Freeport, IL. Theodore is survived by his wife Joyce Pierce of Freeport, IL; sons, Jeffrey (Lynn) Pierce of Ankeny, IA, Richard (Sandy) Pierce of Paoli, WI, Daniel (Chris) Pierce of Oregon, IL and daughter, Janice Rogers of Prescott, AZ; brother, David Pierce of Lake Bluff, IL; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents and sisters (Nancy Jane Polzin of Dekalb, IL and Mary Lee Bolte of Alexandria, VA. There will be no funeral services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
