Tamitha "Tammy" Stuart

Tamitha L. Stuart, age 50, of Freeport, IL, passed away on April 3, 2024, in Freeport, IL. She was born on May 9, 1973, in Freeport, IL.

Tamitha, known to her loved ones as Tammy, was a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend. Her bright light touched the lives of many, especially her grandchildren whom she adored dearly. Her smile was infectious, and her laughter brought joy to all who knew her.

She is survived by her Mother, Cheryl Kostenbader; Children: Latasha Simmons, Hillary Simmons, Christian Simmons; Grandchildren: Daquan Anderson, Khaleel Anderson, Marquis Taylor, and her little sweet pea Perri Lynn Taylor who is on the way; Sister: Rhonda (Edward) Appelquist; Brothers: Michael Stuart, Patrick Curran, Gregory (Glenda) Stuart, and Scott Stuart.

Tamitha was preceded in death by her Father, Brian J. Stuart; Grandfather: John J. Stuart; Grandmother: Maxine W. Stuart; Grandfather: Robert D. Kostenbader; Grandmother: Virginia M. Kostenbader.

A service to honor and celebrate Tamitha's life will be held Thursday April 11, 2024 at Faith Center Church, 203 W Pleasant St., Freeport, IL 61032. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM, Memorial Service from 11AM to 12 PM. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the Freeport Moose Lodge 440 Challenge Street, Freeport, IL.

Tamitha's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
