Sylvia B. Jamison

Sylvia B Jamison, 72, of Freeport passed away Monday November 21, 2016 in her home. She was born February 8, 1944 in Philadelphia, MS to Henry and Daisy (Campbell) Brown. She married Cleaven Jamison Sr. on March 25, 1961 in Philadelphia, MS. Sylvia was employed for 33 years at Honeywell Micro Switch in Freeport. She was a member of the Philippians Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Rev. Cleaven James Jamison Sr.; son Cleaven Jamison Jamison Jr.; three daughters, Gale Jamison, Vellita Jamison (Dickens), and Babette Jamison; brother, Jimmy Dean Brown; sister, Dorthy Ruth Brown; and seven grand-children and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 26, 2016 at the Philippians Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Allison officiating.
