Steven A. Donmeyer

Steven A. Donmeyer, 71, of Freeport, passed away, Friday May 28, 2021 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Steven was born September 25, 1949 in Freeport, the son of Merrill and Betty (Knicely) Donmeyer. Steven was employed at Bocker Auto Group for 47 years. He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors, riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, and fishing. He also liked antiquing. Above all else, Steven, enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Donmeyer (Adam Schulz) of Loves Park and Lora Ali (Mario Steger) of Milton, Wisconsin; two brothers, Larry (Linda) Donmeyer and Jerry (Betty) Donmeyer; sister, Sharon (Skip) LaBorde of Freeport; and three grandsons, Tyler and Brett Schofield and Casey Ali. Also surviving is Steven's fur baby, Marlie. Mr. Donmeyer was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron Matthews. Visitation will be Wednesday June 2, 2021, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Family service will be Thursday June 3, 2021, at Oakland Cemetery.
