Stanley Haack

Stanley G. Haack, 80 of Freeport, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at Liberty Village. He was born on December 1, 1932 in Freeport, the son of Melvin and Evelyn (Wirtjes) Haack. Stanley worked in Washington D.C. for the U.S. Government Civil Services. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Stanley liked to travel and read. He was a 1950 graduate of Freeport High School and a graduate of Bradley University. Survivors include one sister Marilyn Brandenburg of Tuscon, AZ; also two cousins, Gene (Lynn) Heeren of Freeport and Rick (Rae Ann) Heeren of Heyworth, IL. Preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at Burke-Tubbs. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Tom McClellan will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
