Shirley M Miller

Shirley M. Miller, 87, of Freeport, and Parkview Home Resident died, Wednesday August 31, 2011 in Parkview Home. Shirley was born July 17, 1924 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Merritt W. and Regina Kelty (Krick) Westinghouse. Shirley graduated from Mount Merry College in Cedar Rapids. On March 6, 1948 Shirley married Robert W. Miller in Cedar Rapids. Robert died on August 28, 1989. Shirley was a retired secretary and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Survivors include; daughter; Suzanne Miller Groves of Bloomington, Il, former son-in-law; Nelson (Karen) Julius of Freeport and grandson Jason Groves of Dwight, IL. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, daughter; Maureen Miller-Julius, grandson; Bradley Julius and one sister. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial Services will be 1:00 P.M.
