Shirley J. Boyer

Shirley J. Boyer, 90 , of Freeport passed away Thursday February 9, 2017 in her home. Born November 22, 1926 in Chicago to Clifford and Allene (Bennnett) Ostrander. Shirley married Lee Euler and later married Kelly Boyer. Shirley was employed at Micro Switch-Honeywell. She enjoyed baking, dancing, making homemade candy, traveling and visiting with her family and friends. She is survived by her three sons, John (Peggy) Euler of Freeport, Lee Jr. (Donna) Euler of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Dennis (Darlene) Euler of Freeport; five daughters, Patty Euler, Charlotte (Bob) Klosa, Joann (Joseph) Dunlavey of Freeport, Lori K. Euler, and Mavis J. Balsiger all of Freeport; one sister, Paulina; and nineteen grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday February, 16, 2017 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Jarrard officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established for F.H.N. Hospice.
