Sherry Lynn Bell

Sherry Lynn Bell, 51 of Naperville, and formerly of the Freeport area, died Monday April 24, 2017 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born October 9, 1965 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Vincent and Doris (Heying) Drees. Sherry was a graduate of Dakota High School. She worked as an Independent I.T. Consultant for EPIC. She enjoyed following the Green Bay Packers, helping others, and being around people. Sherry is survived by her parents Vincent and Doris Drees of Freeport, IL; her special friend Kevin Wools of Naperville, IL; her brother Jeff (Amy) Drees of Lucas, TX; her sister Lisa (Brad) Carlson of Davis, IL; her nieces and nephews Wesley, Jacob, Hannah, and Emma Drees, and Kayla and Alyssa Carlson; and her grandnephew Brayden Hasting. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral mass will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday April 29, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Freeport, IL, with Rev. Ken Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 P.M. Friday at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, with a scripture service at 7:00 P.M; there will also be a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
