Sharon Ann Heitzman

Sharon Ann Heitzman, 66, of Freeport , died Saturday March 31, 2012 in her home. Sharon was born on May 11, 1945 in West Plains, Missouri, the daughter of Harold and Evelyn (Shipp) Bergman. On June 10, 1967 Sharon married Pat Heitzman in Litchfield, Illinois. Sharon worked as office manager of Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital with her husband Pat Heitzman, D.V.M. Sharon was a 1963 graduate of Litchfield High School. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church. Sharon enjoyed quilting, needlepoint and following the Milwaukee Brewers. She was a member of F.A.C.C., working as a volunteer at the Homeless Shelter. Survivors include her husband Pat Heitzman, D.V.M. of Freeport, one son; Michael (Kathi) Heitzman of Rockford, five brothers; Jerry (Melanie) Bergman, Dennis(Wendy) Bergman, Dallas(Janet) Bergman, Richard(Maxine) Bergman and Roger Bergman all of Litchfield, Illinois. One sister, Jane (John) White of Litchfield, Illinois and her aunt, Annie Wirt of Litchfield, Illinois. Five Grandchildren; Chris, Jessica, Kayla, Aaron and Andrew. Three Great-grandchildren; Adam, Lilly and Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday April 3, 2012 at United Presbyterian Church Rev. Kathleen Luke, pas tor, will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday April 2, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. There will also be a visitation Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at United Presbyterian Church. A memorial has been established in Sharon'™s memory.
