Sandra Dotson

Sandra Dotson, 78, of Freeport, passed away, Friday November 11, 2022, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Sandra was born May 25, 1944, in Dakota, the daughter of Karl and Carolyn (Virtue) Schoonhoven. Sandra married Gary L. Dotson July 24, 1965 in Freeport. Sandra was a member of Park Hills Evangelical Free Church where she developed many great friendships. Sandra's life revolved around her family. Sandra really looked forward to holidays and spending them with her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband Gary of Freeport; two sons, Dan (Nancy) Dotson of Muskego, Wisconsin, and Jim (Jeannie) Dotson of Boothbay Harbor, Maine; daughter, Sarah (Dennis) Ritter of Freeport; five grandchildren, Heather, Jennifer, Josiah, Bethany, and Mischa; and uncle, James (Marilyn) Virtue of Crown Pointe, Indiana; Sandra was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday November 19, 2022 at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Park Hills Evangelical Free Church in Sandra's memory.
