Sally Jo Elsey

Sally Jo Elsey, 70, of Freeport died Thursday at F.H.N. Memorial Hospital. She was born March 11, 1942 in Freeport,the daughter of Clark and Lois (Camerer) Reeser. She married Donald L. Elsey. Sally was employed as a teacher, nurse and E.M.T. Sally was a member of First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Moose Club. Mrs. Elsey is survived by her daughters; Carrie Elsey of Goose Creek, S.C. and Amy Jo (Keith) Beightol of Freeport. Four grandchildren; Forrest Beightol, Patrick Lampe, Emma June Beightol and Blake Beightol. Two great-grandchildren; Mylaki Coorsen and Phoenix Lampe. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father; Gary Bantle. A funeral service will be Monday, 1:00 P.M. at First Lutheran Church, Freeport. Rev. Keith Johnson, pastor will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Chapel hill memorial Gardens, Freeport. A memorial has been established in her name.
