Sally Ann Cuplin

Sally A Cuplin, 64, of Freeport, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Serenity Hospice Home in Oregon, IL. Sally was the daughter of DeWayne and Janice (Score) Burck. She married Craig E. Cuplin on August 24, 1968. Sally worked at Micro Switch and the Freeport School District for a short period of time and then spent time raising their daughter Aimee and taking care of the home. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, Craig; daughter, Aimee (Jeff) Wunluck; grandchildren, Kyle and Kaela Wunluck; sister, Jane (Walter) Pawelkiewicz; brother Douglas (Donna) Burck, sister-in-law, Karleen (Erv) Olson; brother-in-laws, Gary (Pat) Cuplin, Mark (Lynne) Cuplin, Steven (friend, Tammy) Cuplin. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and in-laws, Karl and Ruth (Kryder) Cuplin. Sally enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing golf, traveling and all outdoor activities. She thought everything was just PHENOMINAL! Funeral services will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Freeport. Pastor Keith Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home Freeport. Entombment of cremains will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
