Ruth Ann Pales Mulnix, of Freeport, passed away, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Freeport, IL. at age 77. Ruth was born Sept 3rd, 1947, in Chickasha, OK, Grady Co., the daughter of James Leonard and Patricia Corinne (Jones) Pales. Ruth Ann married Russell James Mulnix on September 18, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked as a self-employed computer programmer. She was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was active in several clubs including LDS Relief Society, Stephenson Co Historical Society, Women in Management, Freeport Chamber of Commerce.
Survived by her husband, Russell Mulnix; son: James Mulnix; daughters, Rebekah (Peter) Reaksecker, Patricia (Isaac) Wright, and Nancy (Jake) Niederer; sister, Nancy Pales Key; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services are 11:00 am Thursday February 6, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Visitation 10:00 am until the time of service.
