Ronald A. Burwitz

Ronald A. Burwitz, 71, of Baileyville died Monday at F.H.N. Memorial Hospital. He was born May 29, 1941 in Rockford, Illinois the son of Carl A and Dorothy M. (Helsell) Burwitz. Ronald married Connie Munk on April 4, 1970 in Freeport. Mr. Burwitz was employed by Micro Switch and later Big A Auto Parts. He attended Baileyville Baptist Church and enjoyed attending flea markets, thrashing shows and John Deere Tractors. Mr. Burwitz is survived by his wife, his son, Todd Burwitz ; of Baileyville and two brothers, Carl Burwitz, Jr. of Chisago, Minnesota and Bernard (Annie) Burwitz of Beloit, Wisconsin. He is also survived by Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Linda, Rosemary and Diane. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at Baileyville Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Cassel, pastor officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport and from 10:00 A.M until time of service Thursday at the Church. Burial will be in Cranes Grove Cemetery.
