Robert Denekas, 87, of Rockford, IL died on Friday Dec. 15, 2023. Robert was born in Ridott Township in Stephenson County to Walter and Louise Denekas. Robert was married to Edna C. Mason for 53 years until her passing in 2016. Robert Graduated from Orangeville High school then went on to serve in the United States Air Force for four years. Robert worked at Humphrey Cadillac and Olds in Rockford for over 30 years and faithfully served at Auburn Road Nazarene Church for more than 40 years. In recent years he attended Rockford First Nazarene Church. He was a strong man of faith, in spite of life's pain, and gave glory to God through his final days.

Robert is survived by four children Norma, Dale (Natalia), Danny (Debbie), and Mark and eight grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday December 29, 2023, at Rockford First Nazarene Church (4503 Charles St, Rockford, IL 61108). Visitation 9:00 am until the time of service.
