Robert D. Boschulte

Robert D. Boschulte, 94, of Freeport, Il, died Monday November 30, at Manor Court in Freeport. He was born February 17, 1921 in Quincy, Il, the son of Herman Robert and Maude (Brown) Boschulte. Robert married Barbara Phillips on February 1, 1944 in Punta Gorda, Florida. Robert was employed at J.C. Penny's in Boone, Iowa, Winona, Minnesota, Madison Wisconsin, and Freeport for 40 years as a store manager until retiring. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. Robert attended Park Hills Evangelical Free Church. He was a member of the Freeport Park Board and the Chamber of Commerce. Robert is survived by three sons, R.D. (Joy) Boschulte of Bonita Springs, Florida, Rick (Diana) Boschulte of Eureka, Illinois, and Mark Boschulte of Boise, Idaho; two daughters, Sharon White of Columbus, Ohio, and Kay Boschulte of Freeport; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by two sisters, Ruthe and Dorothy, and one grand daughter, Sheila White. The family would like to thank Dr. Dosi and the staff at Manor Court for their compassionate care.
