Robbie Leon Williams (Lil Robbie), 28, of Freeport, departed his earthly life, Sunday April 8, 2012. Robbie was born September 30, 1983 to Cherry Anderson and Robbie Williams Sr., in Joliet, IL. Robbie accepted Christ and was baptized at a young age at St. Martin Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport, under the leadership of Pastor Darnell Thomas. Robbie attended school in Freeport until relocating to Peoria, where he received his GED. While in Peoria he was employed by Catepillar. Robbie moved to Rockford in 2007 and was employed at various places. Robbie became the father of his pride and joy Markayden Boyer on October 25, 2006. Robbie was a Vibrant, loving man. He was always the one to get people on their feet with his charming smile and great sense of humor. He could always make you laugh even upon first meeting with him. He was respectful and would always lend a helping hand. Robbie leaves to cherish his memories; his loving parents Cherry Anderson of Freeport, father Robbie Williams Sr. of Freeport; his big brother Joseph Anderson of Chicago, his younger sister LaShanda Williams; his pride and joy Markayden Boyer, and a son on the way; his maternal grandmother Celeste Allen of Freeport, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Robbie was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Thomas Anderson; Paternal grandparents Mary Williams and Tommy Williams and cousin Russell Williams. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Faith Center Church. 203 W Pleasant, Freeport, Pastor Sowell. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
