Richard A. Eastman Jr.

Richard "Rick" A. Eastman Jr., "Animal", 59, of Freeport, IL passed away Tuesday October 6, 2020 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born January 4, 1961 in Freeport, IL to Richard A. Sr. and Marian Jean (Hastings) Eastman. On June 30, 1984 he married Theressa Bertram-Dyson at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freeport, IL. Rick owned and operated Eastrich Printing and later was employed at Freeport Press. He was a member of the Freeport Lions Club. Rick enjoyed bowling, Pokmon Go, spending time with family and making everyone laugh. He is survived by his wife Theressa Eastman of Freeport, IL; father Richard Eastman Sr. of Freeport, IL; son Scott (Janice) Bertram of Indiana; daughter Shiloh (Kirk) Bausman of Freeport, IL; three sisters Julie (Gary) Piehn, Mary (Dennis) Whitmer and Barbara (Michael) Shuey; seven grandchildren Tyler, Tanner, Zacary, Starr, Reese (Jeremy), Connor and Cassandra; and one great-grandchild Kai'Shon. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother Marian, aunt Lorraine and two brothers-in-laws Roy "Peanut" Dyson Sr. and David Dyson. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday October 12, 2020 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Bader officiating. A visitation will be held Sunday October 11, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. also at the Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home.
