Rev. Tom T. Mcclellan

Rev. Thomas T. McClellan, 92, of Freeport, died Friday June 29, 2018 in his home. He was born May 5, 1926 in Altoona, PA.; the son of John A. and Kathryn (Garth) McClellan. Tom married Geraldine "Jerry" McNeilly June 14, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1944-1946. He served as a Pastor for many congregations, most recently for Park Hills Free Evangelical Church. Rev. Tom was good with his hands, working as a mechanic, electrician, woodworking, and enjoyed repairing antique clocks. Surviving are his wife, Geraldine "Jerry" McClellan of Freeport; two sons, John (Carol) McClellan of Farmdale, Ohio and J. "Mac" (Stancie) McClellan of Grand Haven, Michigan; two daughters, Judy (Terry) Flickinger and JoAnn (Rodger) Gorsline both of Freeport; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 3, 2018 at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church. Pastor Mark Balmer will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday July 2, 2018 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Park Hills. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory. Please sign Rev.
