Rebecca Fane

Rebecca Fane, 89, of Freeport, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Born on July 7, 1925, the daughter of James and Mamie (Harris) Allen. She was employed by Sanitary Cleaners and Micro Switch. Mrs. Fane enjoyed doing word puzzles, going to garage sales and her friends and family were a very important part of her life. Survivors include her four sisters; Minnie Holly, Ruthie McShane and Johnie Plair all of Harvey, IL and Faithie Townsend of Chicago; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Monroe Fane, and one daughter Annie Allen. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Rev.
