Rebecca "Becky" Jo Skeel

Rebecca “Becky” Jo Skeel, 67, of Freeport, passed away, Saturday September 9, 2023, at Javon Bea Hospital. Becky was born February 11, 1956, in Freeport, the daughter of Ronald and Maryann (Kempthorne) Farringer. Becky loved to gamble it could’ve been playing slots or even a good game of Texas Holdem! Becky also loved to bake and spend time with her Grandkids!

Surviving are her children, Breah Jacobs, Nick Skeel, and Lyndsey Skeel all of Freeport; siblings, Deanna Pacek, Steve Farringer, and Todd Farringer; nieces Treasure Kahl, Heather Farringer, and Brittany Thomas; grandchildren, Peyton Skeel, Christian Avila, Joshua Avila, Elijah Wright, Jayden Wright, Brayleigh Jacobs, Joe Wright, Olivia Skeel, and Malaya Wilson.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, and two nephews, Joshua Kahl and Jason Farringer.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday September 16, 2023 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Isaac Jackson will officiate. Visitation 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Becky’s memory.
