Raymond Balles

Raymond Balles, 56, of Cedarville, IL died unexpectedly Sunday September 26, 2021. He was born November 29, 1964 in Freeport, IL to Raymond and Sylvia (Blunt) Balles. He was an avid fisherman, loved riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends. Ray had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother Sylvia Kowall of Cocoa, FL; sister Brenda Balles of Cocoa, FL; Nephews Austin (Sophie) Simmons of Wakiki, HI; and Isaiah Simmons of Cocoa, FL; former wife Kena Kempthorne- Balles of Freeport, IL; his dog Bookie, special friends Wilber, Shane, Doug, Kenny, Vern, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Preceding Raymond in death is his first wife Lorraine Keppen- Balles, grandparents, father, and step-father Duane "Skip" Kowall. A celebration of life for Raymond will be held Wednesday October 6, 2021 beginning at 5:00P.M. at Mulligans Bar & Grill in Lena, IL.
