Ralph James Lenoir Jr., went to his eternal home on Tuesday evening, March 20, 2012. He was born on February 28, 1963 in Freeport, Illinois. The son of Ralph and Nellie (Shipp) Lenoir. Ralph came to know Christ at an early age, and joined St. Paul Baptist Church in Freeport. He was united in marriage to Lucinda Newton on August 20, 1989. To that union one child was born; Raven Jacinda Lenoir of Freeport. Raven was always his pride and joy. Ralph graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and was employed by Honeywell in Freeport for a short period of time before accepting a position with FMC Corporation in San Jose, California as a computer consultant. Most recently Ralph was employed by Altra Motion in Beloit, Wisconsin as a system Designer. Ralph married Jocelyn Boggess on February 27, 2004. 'Ralphie' loved to joke and never met a stranger. If you met him, you loved him. He had a giving spirit in life which will continue on as he generously donated organs to enrich and bless the lives of people who will never know his wonderful smile. He studied karate from a young age and still enjoyed martial art films. He also loved his Mom'™s roast beef and lima beans, laughing his deep rich laugh and making everyone around him laugh. He also truly loved his life and travels with Jocelyn. Ralphie treasured his family and friends; to him his friends were family. He leaves cherished memories to his wife; Jocelyn Lenoir, daughter; Raven Lenoir, his parents; Ralph and Nellie Lenoir Sr., his sister Cynthia (Lawrence) Fleming of Chicago, IL, two step children; Donavan Boggess of Madison, Wisconsin and Heather Jackson of Des Moines, Iowa. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Ralphie was preceded in death by his grandparents and two aunts. Funeral services for Mr. Lenoir will be Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at First Church of God, Freeport. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of service Saturday at the Church.
