Peter Andrews

Peter R. Andrews, 58, formerly of Freeport, died Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Grove at the Lake Nursing Home. He was born on January 27, 1955 in Martinsville, VA., the son of Crozier and Maggie (Boothe) Haney. Peter worked in a restaurant as a waiter in Illinois, New Orleans and California. He was a member of Eastgate Christian Center. Peter loved people and serving people. He also enjoyed cooking. Survivors include his father C. Joseph (Anita) Boothe of Grayslake, IL; three sisters M. Elayne (Harvey) Eichelberger of Salem, WI., Leslye (Mike) Polowy of Clearwater, FL and Lou (Steve) Biggs of Rochester, IN.; two brothers Jerry (Kim) Boothe of Beach Peek, Il and Scott (Jen) Biggs of IL.; also many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be Monday 1 p.m. at East Gate Church. Rev. Steve Barr will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the church.
